Iridium 9575 Satellite Phone

It's here and we are taking orders for the new 9575 extreme satellite phone from Iridium

The Iridium 9575 satellite phone will be 10% thinner and 7% lighter than the current long term model the Iridium 9555.

The Iridium 9575 will also be more rugged with both an IP65 and US MIL 810F rating and a rubber grip.

The 9575 antenna will have a more rugged design and the unit will come with a tracking function complete with a panic button for emergency situations.

However if the rumors do become true I look forward to receiving my new Iridium 9575 handset and providing a thorough review and comparison of the phone in the very near future.
